flexibility, cost effectiveness and scalability. Global Partner of the Year, Xtractor, is a
leading Swedish provider of workplace learning, and has the largest Totara
customer base in Northern Europe. As a Totara Platinum Partner, they provide a
full set of services including design, configuration, customisation,
integrations and professional hosting. They are strong proponents of the open
source movement, and also provide technologies such as the Adapt authoring tool

include Kia Motors, Max Burgers, Actic and Västerås Stad, and their work with the Swedish Board of Agriculture achieved this
year’s Best Government Project award. Xtractor was also named one of Sweden’s best places to work by
independent research company Great Place to Work in 2019, topping the list of
medium-sized companies for the fourth year in a row.

Lars Hyland, Chief Learning Officer at Totara, said: “Congratulations to the whole Xtractor team who have been long-standing advocates of the flexibility and value of the Totara learning management system. I am sure 2020 will see both of our organisations continue to grow from strength to strength.”

Niklas Harging, CEO at Xtractor, said “We have been helping our customers to implement Totara Learn since 2013. During these years, we have learned to customize, develop and configure the system so that our customers more easily can reach their business goals. This award is a confirmation that we are on the right track. I feel proud and grateful to be able to work with such talented employees and customers.” As a winner, Xtractor will receive a waka (a
Māori canoe) made from genuine Totara wood. Xtractor will be hosting their 2020 Customer
Forum (Kundforum 2020) on 11th March in Stockholm. At
this event, customers will discover more about the growing Totara platform
ecosystem and hear from industry-renowned experts such as Lori Niles-Hofmann,
Ben Betts, Pia Stider and Svein-Tore Griff With.
